Recreation Program Coordinator-P/T
The Borough of Bound Brook is seeking a part-time Recreation Program Coordinator. This is a newly created position that will require innovative programming ideas with the ability to execute successful comprehensive programs for kids, adults and seniors. The Program Coordinator will be tasked to plan, coordinate, implement, promote and oversee activities of selected recreational programs and special events. Knowledge of the methods used to plan, organize and coordinate parks and recreation programs. Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or related field from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Minimum (3) years of professional recreation or community service experience. Hourly rate $20-$28. Ability to work in high-pressure environments; have excellent problem-solving skills.
