NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the Borough of Bound Brook, in the County of Somerset County, New Jersey for the project known as “Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services,” to be opened and read aloud in public at the Borough of Bound Brook Municipal Building, 230 Hamilton Street, Bound Brook, New Jersey, on
Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. prevailing time.
The project includes the collection, removal and disposal of Type 10 solid waste from residential, municipal and institutional locations, and the collection, removal and disposal of Type 13 bulky waste from residential locations, all as more fully described in the Bid Documents.
The Bid Documents are on file in the office of the Borough Clerk, 230 Hamilton Street, Bound Brook, New Jersey and may be inspected by prospective bidders during business hours. A copy of the Bid Documents is available for pickup from the Borough Clerk’s office.
Proposals must be made on the Proposal forms and in the manner designated in the Contract Documents. Bidders must submit Proposals on or before the date and time set forth above, enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, marked “Bid – Solid Waste Collection and Disposal Services” on the outside, and addressed to the Borough Clerk, Borough of Bound Brook at the above address.
Proposals must be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, and a Bid Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check or Cashier’s Check drawn to the order of the Borough of Bound Brook, for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, not to exceed $20,000.00.
The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bids, subject to applicable law.
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. (Affirmative Action).
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACT UNDER A NATIONAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT TO LILYPAD EV FOR CHARGING STATIONS
Notice of Intent to Award Contract under a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement- Sourcewell Contract #051017-LPE. The Borough of Bound Brook intends to participate in the Sourcewell Contract for Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment and Related Services contract #051017-LPE to purchase charging stations.
Information regarding the contract may be found at the Borough Clerk’s Office during regular business hours, as well as on the Borough’s website at: www.boundbrook-nj.org.
The Borough anticipates joining the Sourcewell contract on December 10, 2019. The Sourcewell contract term is July 25, 2017 to July 25, 2021.
It is the intent of the Borough to make a contract award to LilyPad EV pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the Borough’s Requests for Bid(s).
The Borough is permitted to join national cooperatives pursuant to agreements under the authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3).
